Heal Care Group is on a mission to provide a transformative experience for children who have experienced developmental trauma. We are dedicated to a care philosophy rooted in trauma-informed approaches, such as Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP), and a commitment to connection and healing.
We understand that the children in our care have often experienced developmental trauma and that building connections will be essential to creating a sense of safety and healing.
Drawing on expert research from seasoned practitioners, we are committed to raising the bar for children by promoting a holistic, person-centred approach and a new way of thinking about how we work with our children, their families, local authorities, social workers, our staff members, and the wider community.

In order to create the safe places we are committed to providing, we set clear expectations and boundaries for acceptable behaviour. We understand that the children in our care have complex needs, and recognise that their behaviour is a way of communicating their needs, thoughts and feelings - including feelings of fear and thoughts they are unsafe. To support the children we care for, we will always communicate therapeutically and offer safe, validating spaces where they can externalise painful thoughts and feelings. We take action quickly and efficiently if the immediate safety and wellbeing of the child, adults or other children were ever to be at risk.
